We currently offer complete pole building packages in most of Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. Please see our Installation page for a rough map of our service area.

Pole Barns Direct does not offer financing, but you can click here to see a few options that we typically recommend to our customers.

Usually when building any structure, you are required to obtain a zoning and building permit. Some municipalities do not require a building permit. We always recommend that you check with your local building department to find out what is required.

The amount of time between purchasing your building and the actual start of construction varies depending on the time of year, weather conditions and other factors. We typically run an average of 6-8 weeks out with our construction schedule for much of the year, but it may be more or less at specific times.

No, Pole Barns Direct currently only sells complete building packages. We are not a distributor for any individual building components.

Currently, the widest truss that we can clear span is 80' wide. The only limitation on building length is the space you have available to build on.

Currently, the smallest building we offer is a 24' x 24' x 8'.

We are sometimes able to add onto existing structures, but it depends on several factors. Please give us a call to discuss your addition project so we can determine if it’s something we can help you with.

Currently, Pole Barns Direct does not install vinyl siding or shingle roofing but we can do the prep work for it if you want one of our buildings without steel roofing or siding.

We currently do not offer traditional skylights, however, we do offer Clear Panel. Clear Panel is designed to perfectly match the profile of our metal roofing & siding and can be used in many ways to let extra natural light into your building.

Once the crew has started your building, it can take as little as 2-3 days, depending on the size and complexity of your building.

Pole Barns Direct doesn’t currently have the ability to do any excavation work beyond drilling the post holes for your building. However, depending on your location, we may be able to refer you to a local excavator that we would recommend. Please call the office if you need a referral for excavating services.

In general, yes, we can construct the shell of a post-frame building that can be used for a house or partial living space. However, a post-frame home involves many more details than a typical pole barn garage or barn. Please give us a call to discuss if you are interested in building a pole barn home.
